9 Things that I want to see at E3.

This weekend is E3, the biggest gaming conference of the year and the good folks over at Den Of Geek have given us this wonderful list of all of the games that have officially been announced as appearing at the show. Here’s The Link in case you wanna check that out,

Naturally There could be a handful of surprises that could happen so here’s my top 9 things that I want to see from E3, please take note that these vary from the almost already confirmed to the absolutely impossible ones but hey, I’m an optimistic person.

(Honorable Mention) : Sony’s State Of Play

So the state of plays that we’ve received may not have been the best but I feel like if Sony really wanted to make a few headlines then they would do a State of Play either the day before or the day after E3 and they would Showcase Ghosts Of TsushimaThe Last Of Us Part 2 and the PS5. If they were to do that they would arguably be a contender for best of show without even being at the show. Crazy.

9. Marvel announces that Avengers and Spider-Man are both in the same universe and will crossover somehow.

Alright, this one is almost already confirmed because of how many hints there were to a bigger Marvel Universe inside of 2018’s Spider-Man. I would love to see these as a crossover universe in whatever fashion that takes. Insomniac set up for a lot in a sequel and I’d also love to see a target release window for that but I understand that might be pushing it.

8. Nintendo Announces Metroid Prime Trilogy on The Switch.

I mean, it’s one of the few major Nintendo Games that I’ve never actually played and I’ve really wanted to for a long time. Plus this would be a great thing to hold us over until Metroid Prime 4 comes out.

7. Bethesda Announces Fallout 5.

This one is a long shot but they’ve already said that they’re not going to talk about Starfield or Elder Scrolls Vi Unless both of those are just outright lies…which would be alright by me. That being said, Following the issues surrounding Fallout 76 last year(This is solely based on Reviews, I haven’t played it yet and honestly I do want to try it after the update in April.) then I think it would be a show of good faith that Bethesda gives the fans something that they’ve wanted for a long time.

6. Microsoft Brings Back Fable.

I mean, Look, the numbers can tell you exactly where Microsoft is right now as a Company and their exclusives just haven’t been cutting it lately. Gears and Halo are great but I think that a new Fable that is as fine tuned as the second game would be something that the company needs to do.

Either that, or they’re going to go the route of Sega following the Dreamcast and will just make software for other consoles…it could happen, we’re probably a generation away before that happens but it could happen.

5. EA/Dice Announces Star Wars Battlefront III

This is definitely a long shot considering is hardly doing anything at the conference. That being said, I would love to see Battlefront III soon. They fixed all of the issues of Battlefront II and made the game something that’s actually worth taking the time to play and they’ve kept their promise about all DLC being free. Once EA steps back and let’s their teams actually make the games that they want to make then they’re actually pretty good.

4. Nintendo Announces a New F-Zero Game for Switch.

Please! We deserve It! It could be so good! We haven’t had one since the Gamecube!

3. Batman : Court Of Owls is Officially Announced

I swear, it feels like this was a rumor even before Arkham Knight Came out. The Court of Owls is one of my favorite Batman Stories of all time and might be my actual favorite. The story would lend itself to the Arkham universe so well and you could do it and feature levels where you play as the other characters, plus it’d be a great way to continue Jason Todd’s story from Arkham Knight.

I need a level in the Labyrinth where Batman slowly starts to lose his mind. I absolutely need that.

2. CD Projekt Red Drops an actual Release Date for Cyberpunk 2077

I’ll be very surprised if this happens but I would love it. The trailer they showed looked amazing and I would love to see this game out as soon as possible. CD Projekt Red have said that this E3 will be their most important yet so you can read into that how you’d like to. I personally think that means that we’re going to get a release date and it’s going to come out sooner than you think.

1.  Nintendo Announces Gamecube Games For Switch

And of course, the one thing that would absolutely blow me away would be if Nintendo Announced that they’re bringing back the virtual console and that it’s going to feature Gamecube Games. All of us would freak out! Legend of Zelda : The Wind Waker, Mario Kart : Double Dash, Luigi’s Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Star Fox Assault, Super Smash Bros. Melee and hundreds of other games deserve to be featured and I think it’d be a great move by Nintendo.

That’s my List, hope you all enjoyed! We’ll be posting articles about the different conferences and announcements all next week so stay tuned!
